Zwaanendael Women's Club bingo raises $1930 for Lighthouse for Broken Wings
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Zwaanendael Women’s Club hosted a bingo fundraiser Jan. 15 at Ruby Tuesday restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, where more than 100 attendees raised $1,930 for benefit Lighthouse for Broken Wings.

With the help of community members and businesses, the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club provided 27 Easter dinner food baskets for in-need Cape Henlopen High School families. The food baskets included hams purchased with donated funds from the Harry K Foundation, and canned goods donated by community members during the club’s recent food drive sponsored by Blooming Boutique stores to restock the Cape Henlopen High School food pantry. Zwaanendael Women's Club and Blackwall Hitch Raise Funds for Beebe Medical Foundation
Blackwall Hitch Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach and the GFWC Zwaanendael Women's Club recently partnered to sponsor a Hitch Strong, Believe in Community Dine and Donate Day. The fundraiser was a great success as patrons enjoyed food and drinks, and event beneficiary Beebe Medical Foundation received a check for $1,000. Beebe Medical Foundation will direct these funds to support Beebe Medical Healthcare ER, which is a level 3 certified trauma center that sees 49,000 visits annually. Read more...
