The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s
Clubs (GFWC) and the Delaware State Federation of Women's Clubs (DSFWC).

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is nearly 80,000 members strong with
affiliated clubs in every state, the District of Columbia, and more than a dozen countries.
The General Federation of Women's Clubs is united in its dedication to volunteer
community service.


While diverse in age, interests, and experiences, all GFWC clubwomen are united by a
desire to create positive change in their communities.

The Delaware State Federation of Women's Clubs is a nonprofit federation of 20
community women's clubs located throughout the state of Delaware, 8 of which are
located here in Sussex County. 


DSFWC proudly honors the motto of “Unity in Diversity” as these clubs come together
as unique individuals and community women's clubs dedicated to serving our communities
through various community improvement and education projects.  The DSFWC mission is
to enhance the lives of others in Delaware through volunteer service.

women for the purpose of promoting community
improvements through volunteer service.
